Holiday Letter December 2013

Dear alumni and friends,

It has been 18 months since UIAAAN’s reconstruction in June 2012. I want to thank you for all your support. We only succeed through your involvement: sharing your opinions and needs; volunteering your time; and providing financial support.

As we continue to expand our network, we are ever mindful of our mission to connect and represent Asian and Asian American alumni and students across the University of Illinois campuses at Chicago, Springfield and Urbana-Champaign. We offer opportunities to professionally network, engage in public service and community involvement, and to continually contribute to the greater University of Illinois community.

Thank you!

Some milestones we have achieved in the past 18 months include creating a new website, a new Facebook Group a mentoring program matching undergraduates with alum, and a scholarship . In addition, we hosted five programs: Chicago Happy Hour (2012), Naperville Summer picnic (2013), Homecoming (2012), Meet and Greet with APAC and Paula Kim in Champaign (2013), and a Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser- Chicago (2012, 2013) and Champaign (2013).

This holiday season we ask for your support by filling out the survey here to help us to obtain a better understanding of alumni needs. Please fill out the survey by 12/17/2013. Thank you!

Happy Holidays!
